The zCloak Network team is very excited to announce we have just achieved the first STARK proof generation in a browser extension.
What is in the demo? In the demo, we have a simple algorithm to judge if a person is over 20 years old. A result of “true” is obtained for Alice who is 26 and a STARK proof is generated to prove the correctness(integrity) of her computation. If Alice sends the result and the proof to a 3rd party, she will be able to prove that she is over 20 years old without disclosing her exact age.
zCloak Network provides Zero-Knowledge Proof as a Service based on the Polkadot Network. It enables a new computation paradigm called the Cloaking Space, which provides a private and scalable computation environment for Web 3.0.
The blockchain, in essence, is a replicated state machine. It begins with a genesis state; it changes its state based on user input and a set of rules; then it arrives at a new state. The rule that governs how state changes is usually called a State Transition Function (STF). We can write this process as the following:
STF (current state, input data) -> new state
We are happy to announce our collaboration with Litentry. We will work together to provide privacy protection for user identity data in Web 3.0.
Litentry is a cross-chain identity aggregation protocol that features a Substrate-built network, mobile app and identity-related tools. The protocol enables identity linking across different networks and facilitates decentralization and transparency in identity credit computation.
The zCloak Network project will use Zero-Knowledge Proof to provide user data privacy protection for aggregated identity data in Litentry. It is well known that most identity data are private information. If one stores one’s identity data in a blockchain, the data…
zCloak Network, a Polkadot based confidential computing platform, announced the completion of a $1.3 million seed round led by IOSG Ventures and Hypersphere Ventures. Other notable participants include KR1, DFG, Advanced Blockchain AG, PAKA Fund and Digital Renaissance Foundation.
Founded in 2020, the zCloak Network project was inspired by the Polkadot vision of Web 3.0 — return the sovereign control of personal data to the users. With its novel approach of Self-Sovereign Data and Self-Proving Computation, zCloak Network enables computation and analysis of personal data without sending them to 3rd party servers. …
Monopolies like Facebook and Amazon, they track our every move, they monitor every moment in our lives and they exploit our data for profit. These companies are the kings and they rule over kingdoms far larger than any nation in human history. They won; we lost. …The way we win is by creating a new, democratic, decentralized Internet, where it is the users, not the kings who have sovereign control over their data. An Internet that is of the people, by the people and for the people.
