In the past two weeks, we have launched the beta version of the zkID Credential Platform. Based on KILT protocol, the platform enables everyone to create their own DID, design the format of a credential, fill-in a claim, make an attestation and share the verifiable credential with others. It is the first step of our endeavor for people to truly control their own data and fulfill the idea of Self-Sovereign Data.

The zCloak team is thrilled to make the beta version of the Credential Platform public and has started to invite a small group of users to do beta testing. The platform will be used for a number of community events in the next few months.

A demo showcasing the main functionalities of the platform has been made by our team. You can check it out here.

We announced our first International Ambassador Program on July 5! By our closing date on July 31, we have received more than 500 applications from all over the world.

After a thorough selection, we diligently invited 23 candidates to aboard the zCloak adventure for our first batch of global ambassadors. We appreciate all candidates’ attention and efforts. Since limited seats for this round of the ambassador program are available, we regret to inform candidates who haven’t received an acceptance email from us that the application process is over. Don’t let this discourage you though. We promise there will be many activities with the opportunity to become deeply involved in our community. Furthermore, there will also be future ambassador programs where you can still work closely with the zCloak team. Please keep checking back with us!

zCloak held its 2nd Community Call AMA on August 5. We were so excited to have 2900+ community members join and participate, through which we connected with our community and updated zCloak’s latest news. We were happy to update our community with our new product — the credential platform, which is coming out the following week.

In future AMAs, we are also looking to create themes and include guests from different fields in Web3. We would want the community to stay close and updated, and we are always open to answering questions and having in-depth discussions with our members.

We are committed to protecting users’ privacy in Web3. We are happy to welcome you to our official Discord and Twitter servers to be actively involved in the development and building of the zCloak ecosystem and keep making contributions to data privacy protection in Web3. Thanks for reading!
