Hello community, it’s time for our October Monthly Update! We summed up our milestones achieved with partnerships, AMAs, and events for you to review. We want to keep our community members updated and well informed, so stay tuned to our monthly updates!
Partnerships
On Oct 16, zCloak announced our collaboration with Vitae3, an on-chain reputation product. With Vitae3, orgs can issue members identity and experience as non-transferable token, and members could claim that to build their on-chain profile. Vitae3 will serve as official management tool for zCloak Network and with extensive possibilities to product integration.
On Oct 20, zCloak Network announced its collaboration with .bit (dot bit), which is a blockchain-based, open source, decentralized cross-chain account system. In celebration of this joyful announcement, we set up a lucky draw giveaway using Cwallet with a prize pool of USDT and .bit accounts. We look forward to further collaboration with .bit!
AMAs
On Oct 6, Luci from 0x499 interviewed the founder of zCloak Network w3tester in their Delight Podcast. The topic was “As the cornerstone of the decentralized society: How should DID expand its utility?”
w3tester talks about W3C DID and data privacy extensively in this episode, and here are some main takeaways:
- Web2 data needs to be utilized in the Web3 world in some ways in order to enrich application scenarios of DID on-chain.
- During the transition to the cyber world, DID will carry the mapping of Web2 identities and social relationships in the Web3 world.
- The future reputation of an individual or organization no longer depends on the endorsement of a centralized organization, but gradually accumulates through the interaction between decentralized parties in the system
- A complete DID system needs to have four basic characteristics: an identifier system based on cryptography, a verifiable trust transfer mechanism, an identity data storage solution where users have absolute sovereignty, and protection of user privacy.

On Oct 18, zCloak Network invited CyberConnect and their Head of BD Wenyi to a Twitter Space session on the topic of Decentralized Identity — Product and Visions. This was the first event zCloak held on the Link3 platform since we became a verified project on Link3. We were excited to test out the platform’s event management functions and had such a great discussion panel with Wenyi from CyberConnect. We look forward to further collaboration with CyberConnect and Link3, as both projects in the DID track.

On Oct 26, zCloak Network held a Chinese AMA seminar about W3C DID in our Discord channel. We mainly talked about W3C’s DID standards and updated our Chinese community with our latest progress on ideas and technology. There was a total of 1930 listeners present at the seminar with a total of 1222 WΞSTs issued, and our speakers took many in-depth questions form the audience and had a great discussion together. We are so glad to see so many Chinese community members participated in the event, and we are motivated to bring more insightful AMAs to our community!
On Oct 28, zCloak’s partner and great friend SnapFingersDAO held an exclusive AMA session on Twitter Space. Vic from Vic TALK was invited as the host, and zCloak’s founder w3tester and CMO Annabella attended as speakers. The AMA discussed mainly about how zCloak Network is building as a privacy-preserving safe house based on the technology of zero-knowledge proof. Both parties provided WΞSTs and Quest3 NFTs with a USDT giveaway for the audience. In the future, we hope to collaborate with SnapFingersDAO and its large community to explore more use cases for zCloak’s ideas and bring more joint events and talks to all our members!
Events
On Oct 8, one of our partners SnapFingerDAO published a detailed review of the zCloak Network project.

We announced our Invitation Event 1.0 beginning Oct 15 and ending Oct 31. The event encourages our discord members to invite their friends to join our discord server, as a way of accessing more active community members. We incentivize our participants with a prize pool of BUSD and SBT powered by Vitae3, our newly announced partner. With the event ending this Monday, we summed up the event data and got that 330 participants invited a total of 3622 new members to our community. Congratulations to those who won the prizes, and we will continue to bring interesting events with prizes to our members!
On Halloween night, Oct 31, zCloak Network invited everyone to join the special Halloween quiz event with Galxe OATs up for grabs. The quiz questions are related to the 0x499 interview with zCloak’s founder about DID technology and utility. We were so thrilled to have more than 27k participants joined us on Halloween night! The event will last for a week, and we will update full event data in our November Monthly Update, so please stay tuned!
